Thomas D. McNamara
Born in Houston, Texas, on November 26, 1954, Thomas McNamara has been practicing in Onslow, Duplin and Jones County since 1993. He is recognized by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. He received his initial certification in 2001 and was recertified in 2007.
He attended the United States Naval Academy graduating in 1977 when he earned his B.S. After serving as an infantry officer approximately 12 years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended Law School at Campbell University in North Carolina and graduated in 1993. Concurrent with his law practice, he continued serving another 13 years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve until his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in December 2002.
Mr. McNamara attended Campbell University achieved J.D. in 1993 and was admitted to the North Carolina bar in that same year.
As a member of the Onslow County and North Carolina Bar Associations (Member, Family Law Section). Thomas McNamara is a Board Certified Specialist, of the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization, in the practice areas of Family Law.
